- Contact form submissions: your name, email address, company name, the service you're asking about, estimated hours per week, and any message you write to us.
- Direct email: anything you send to hello@1upva.com or another 1UPVA address.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and discuss whether a virtual assistant is a good fit for your business.
- To match you with a virtual assistant and set up your engagement, if you become a client.
- To keep basic business records of client communications and agreements.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party services we use
Running this site involves a couple of outside services that process data on our behalf:
- Netlify hosts this website and processes contact form submissions.
- Zoho Mail hosts our email inboxes, including hello@1upva.com.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on their platforms.
Data retention
We keep contact form submissions and email correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain our business relationship if you become a client, and meet basic recordkeeping needs. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your rights" below).
Your rights
Regardless of where you're located, you can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information, where we're not required to keep it for a legitimate business or legal reason.

Children's privacy
Our services are intended for business owners and are not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our business changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of our site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
